About the project
IntelliSmart Infra specializes in digital interventions for the power sector, especially smart metering, analytics, and utility infrastructure management. The mobile app supports operations staff and utility partners by allowing them to access real-time meter data, notifications, analytics dashboards, and site management tools—helping streamline workflows across field deployments at scale.
Design Process
Here’s how I approached the project:
Began with understanding how field operators interact with smart meter systems and identifying the real-time data they need in the field.
Explored layout variations and navigation flows to reduce friction in accessing critical information.
Structured content to prioritize quick access to meter readings, notifications, and analytics.
Applied clean typography, clear hierarchy, and high-contrast elements for usability in both day and night conditions.
Validated prototypes with field-user feedback and refined for clarity, responsiveness, and real-world usability.
Optimized the final UI for performance and delivered it in a developer-ready format.
Final Impact
The app has been fully designed and validated with field operators. Development is currently underway, and once implemented, it is expected to significantly streamline access to real-time smart meter data, reduce task completion time, and improve operational efficiency in the field.
